Practicing Tourist and Recreation Forms of Physical Culture before Apoplexy and the Treatmentand Rehabilitation

Physical activity is signed, among others, by practicing tourism and recreation, and this is not being considered while making inquiries about the effectiveness of rehabilitation after the stroke. There is a short-coming literature of the importance of practicing tourist and recreation form of physical culture before the stroke and its influence of the prognoses after the stroke and patients social activity. It is generally understood that tourism and recreation make our health stronger and are important factors of all our vital functions. In spite of those aspects of tourism and recreation there is a lack of publication considering their importance in the process of restoring every day life function and operations as well as the patients social activity after the apoplexy. The purpose of the paper is to present the significance of the relationship between the physical, tourist and recreation activities and the vital functioning of invalids after the apoplexy. The following hypothesis has been formed: practicing tourist and recreation form of physical culture before falling ill essentially influences the course of treatment and rehabilitation. For the research a group of 75 persons (52 men and 23 women) suffering from aphasia after the apoplexy were taken. In the research the interview after the stroke has been used. To show the influence of physical activity on examined people different groups have been put out for the analysis: nonactive, practising tourism, practising recreation, practising tourism and recreation. The author noticed that all the tree kinds of activities participate in shortening the duration of the disorders. Consequently, it is hard to prove any differences among the activities in the aspect of their influence on the duration of the disorders. The research needs further engagement although physical activity is not the only factor which may have a great weight in the recovery.
