Tourist Activity of Polish Youth in the Light of Hithero Research The tourist activity of mature people is often a derivative of their interests and styles of behaviour in addescence period. The article ia an analysis of research output on the tourist activity of Polish youth over the last few decades. At first, the meaning of the term tourist activity has been clarified. The second part of the article concerns the current state of the research on the tourist activity of young people. An important issue is also the structure and factors influencing the tourist activity. It is to be stressed that the results of the research depend on understanding and defining the terms of tourism and tourist activity. The complexity of the field induces and encourages further reaching research.
