Limitations of Touristic Values of the Environment The purpose of this article is to show factors that limit the touristic values of the environment. Firstly the idea of a touristic value is examined in order to make it precise, secondly these environmental factors that have fundamental role in the occurrence of a touristic value are demonstrated. The basic motifs of people actively exercising tourism are treated as the divisional factor. Hence, touristic values are divided into the fundamental and supplementary. In the division proposed here, the former ones comprise the natural environmental factors, the latter ones include the factors connected with the exploitation of the environment. Disregarding the interrelations existing between these factors may lead to the loss of the touristic values of the environment It may be seen in the degradation of the environment of excessive concentration of tourism. These elements negatively influence satisfying human needs connected with tourism.
