The Utilization or the Accommodation Basis and its Determinants. On the Example or PP "Orbis" Hotels in Cracow in the Years 1986-1992 In the article the importance of investigating Ihe determinants of utilization of the accommodation basis in hotels has been pointed oul. The utilization of the accommodation basis in PP "Orbis" Hotels in Cracow in the years 1986-1992 has been presented using many different measures and indications in percentage. This analysis of frequency of hotels guests has given the possibility to select many factors which can be classified as objective, exterior, for example: the political and social-economic situation, the important social, cultural etc. events, tourist seasons, the economic policy of state. The another group of factors which can be classified as interior (for instance promotion) has been more difficult to single out because it has required the precise analysis of the process of hotel services.
