Assessment of the Accessibility of Cracow Sights and Hotels for Disabled Tourists

Tourism has been recognized as a rehabilitation form for the disabled. However, tourist activity of this numerous group is limited by structural obstacles. Cracow served the authours to conduct the analysis of hotel accessibility to the main four groups of the disabled. Hotels, museums and churches were rated according to their accessibility for the disabled on the basis of initially stated criteria and subsequent field studies. The final part formulates the plan of activities aiming at reducing or removing architectural obstacles.
