Some Personality Features of the Candidates Accepted as the First Year Students at the Department of Tourism and Recreation in the Academy of Physical Education, Cracow, in the Academic Year 1991/92 The aim of the investigations presented in this paper was to appoint the intensity of some, particulary important from the point of view of the future professional role, personality features of the first year students admitted to the Department of Tourism and Recreation in the academic year 1991/92. The subjects of the experimental exploration were the level of intellectual development achived by the students (OTK test), the degree of extra — introversion, neurosity (H. J. Eysenck's MPI test) and aggression in its different forms (A. H. Buss and A. Durkee ,,Moods and Humors"), The results of the conducted investigations allowed to draw the conclusions forming the basis for educational activities of the teaching staff towards the students.
