Tourist Accommodation Base in Tarnobrzeg Voivodshlp The Sandomierz region which almost corresponds with the administrative area of Tarnobrzeg voivodship does not belong to the districts of great tourist movement. The forms of tourist movement realized in this area make use of the existing tourist base including the tourist accommodation. Its condition, standard and the level of exploitation have been analysed. The results show that the accommodation base is still far from perfect from the point of view of its kind, standard and exploitation. For these reasons special attention must be paid to the process of privatization of the existing accommodation base in the examined Tarnobrzeg voivodship. It should enable its better exploitation, also improve the quality of accommodation services and thus improve the general standard of tourists relaxation
