Research on tourism and leisure conducted at the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań The article presents a historical outline of research on tourism and leisure conducted since the mid-1960s at the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. It discusses the scientific achievements of academics specialising in the field of geography of tourism, including the subject matter of doctoral dissertations. Furthermore, it outlines current research problems. The appendix includes a list of some selected publications by the Faculty researchers dealing with geographical aspects of tourism and leisure.
