The role of specialistic values in creating
the touristic product of Wysowa Health Resort
The mineral waters of Wysowa have been used in the balneolotherapy since the 18th century. Nowadays there are eleven active springs in these waters, whose hydrochemical types are diffrent from one another. Apart from wide range therapeutic waters, the health resort is also charcterized by specific mild bioclimate with strong stimulus and unique natural enviroment. With all these attractive values Wysowa is underestimated by the visitors in comparison with other health resorts of the southern Poland. The aim of the article is to present the possibilities of the touristic values of that place to create the new touristic products, which increased the touristic movement. The social-economic analyse of the region which was made, indicate strenghts and weaknesses of existing in the health resort capabilities as well as opportunities and threats which have influence of Wysowa development. There was also presented modern and ample proposal of the touristic products, which might be implemented, therefore different form of the tourism could be practise in that area.
