1. A stay (connected with a night's lodging) in a farm, 2. A practicing of tourism during the stay in such farm, 3. A tourist advising and help (for example, a hire of cycles or horses) on a part of the farmer, 4. A use of local food products (though not always, among others, in a horse stud), 5. a possibility of work in the farm. Rural tourism is a usual stay in a country in recreational aims, and so simple night's lodgings in boarding-houses or rest centers. In Poland this form of a rest was well-known already in the end of 19th cent., elements of agrotourism appeared surely in the similar time. Agrotourism realizes nowadays many social aims.
