Historical monuments as hotels exemplified by "Rest in Monuments Association" The paper presents monumental hotel object belonging to the Association named "Rest in Monuments". The Character of in the historical monuments was discussed on the basis of different forms of tourism, such as: alternative tourism, specialized tourism, cultural tourism, motive tourism and business tourism. In the paper an attempt to classify visitors of the described ancient monuments was also made. To this effect a questionnaire of a poll inquiry had been prepared and the investigation has been carried out. The specification of visitors regards to the following features: demographic status, purpose and character of visit, duration of stay, type of clients activities and interests while their stay at the hotels and in the neighbourhood. .
