National Tourism Policy and Economy Development of Local Government The article presents tourism as one of the most important branch of tl national economy. Each development plan made by polish government, hi tourism as future part of national bussines. In the year 2000 Polish government created National Plan of Tourism Development (NTDP) for years 2000 - 2006 This document shows possible directions of tourism development in Poland and future markets too. According to the strutcture of Polsih managment sytem, government and local authorities are obligate to built own Regional Tourism Development Plans (RTDP) and then marshals of the voivodships, presidents and mayors with ministry of economy will be planing together National Tourism Development Plan for whole Poland. NTDP should be based on local suge-stions and plans (RTDP) The Locals with their Regional Tourrism Plans should count on government, because Polish authority will support only these directions which are coincide with national plan. NTDP also shows instruments and methods to make real this programm. The article says that tourism can dislove many local or national economy problams. NTDP says you can risk and say YES, but remember this is not remedy for all problems.
